Versatile and dynamic, Catia Ojeda has appeared in both comic and dramatic roles on numerous television shows, movies and on stage. She is currently a series regular on the hit show Just Add Magic from Amazon Studios.
Raised in Texas by her Mexican father and American mother, Catia moved to New York City and earned a B.F.A. in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College. She quickly found work on TV shows such as Law & Order, 30 Rock, Fringe and Damages, as well as starring in dozens of national commercials. She continued to perform on stage in New York City and around the country, most notably starring in the Broadway National Tour of The 101 Dalmatians Musical, directed by multiple TONY Award winner Jerry Zaks.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Catia has continued to balance roles on TV such as American Housewife, Hawaii Five-0 and Criminal Minds, with roles in feature films and on stage. In 2013 she was nominated for the prestigious Ovation Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Play for her performance in Theatre Banshee’s play Brendan.
In 2017 Catia starred in the indie feature film Closure as well as shooting Season Three of Just Add Magic. When she is not working she enjoys cooking, yoga, watching baseball, drinking wine and hanging out with her husband and son.
